Seeing red (noses)

The members of the Kiwanis Club of Surf City-Santa Cruz recently famed Red Nose Day at their breakfast meeting at DeLaveaga Lodge to show their support of various children’s health programs.

Thanks to the efforts and planning of Lew and Yvonne Schlumbrecht, club president Craig Veteran and the rest of the club membership donned their red noses in recognition of the club’s ongoing efforts to raise funds for the Santa Cruz Boys and Girls Club and Kiwanis’ Eliminate Program (working with United Nations Children’s Fund to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus worldwide) and many other local youth services programs.
